Each package is set up with the server type, version and database type you choose above. A database lives on the same server as the app that uses it: PHP sites run on our dedicated PHP server with MariaDB (MySQL-compatible) or PostgreSQL, while Node.js, Python and .NET run on the application server with MySQL, PostgreSQL or SQL Server. Your own Kestrel, Node or Python process is yours to manage; we run the server, nginx and the certificates.
