Property letting, billed like any other recurring service — a register of rental units with their tenant, monthly rent, square metres and lease dates; water sub-metering that captures each meter reading, works out the usage since the last one and bills it; and lease escalations that calculate every increase due from the lease start date, compound a late catch-up correctly and apply them in one reviewed pass, leaving an audit trail of every rise.
